Up till now I had resisted rock band at every turn. It looks really cool, was the game of show for some people at E3 but I lead a simple life and one guitar and covered songs were good enough for me. Then today, news is leaked from an early copy of the September issue of Gamepro that the release date for the title is November 6th.

Then, the one that is near and dear to me showed up. Nirvana’s Nevermind, the album that got me started listening to music at all when I was about 10 years old was hitting the game as a DLC album. My op on the game now? Sold! Take me to your leader. I don’t care if it costs 50 bucks to DL the album but I will and then see you all sometime on the other side of 2008.

Oh yeah, the Who’s album is also due out around the same time. Plus, they’ve released some of the venues you’ll be seeing in the world tour mode. Here’s a run down of the information:
