Xbox news and rumors has it that infinity Ward and Activision have announced that the multiplayer Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts (our review here) will be free for the weekend going from Friday, March 7th to Monday 10th March.

One of the Xbox News say: There are rumors that multiplayer demo will contain three maps, Strikezone, Warhawk and Prison Break and three modes: Search & Rescue, Domination and Deatmatch team in addition to the cooperative mode Extinction (in particular Point of Contact). This is the first free weekend dedicated to Microsoft platforms and Xbox Live, an opportunity not to be escaped for all those who would like to discover the multiplayer of the well-known shooter.
